Abstract | A sermon by Edward Hitchcock discussing the tenth chapter of Romans. He goes through the chapter verse by verse, going into depth about the meaning of certain portions of these verses and expanding upon the overall meaning of the chapter. Hitchcock focuses primarily on the issue of men being zealous in their own righteousness instead of being zealous about accepting Jesus Christ. Hitchcock has noted on the first page that the sermon was delivered in Conway in May 1825. |
