Abstract
A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock discusses copies of his address to the Association of American Geologists that Benjamin Silliman, Jr. sent to him, promising remittance soon and requesting more copies. Hitchcock also tells Silliman that James Deane proposed naming a fossil footprint after Silliman.
