Abstract | A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock discusses the details of printing his report on the geology of Massachusetts. An extract of a letter from Hitchcock on winter temperatures is also included, as well as a letter to Edward Hitchcock from Benjamin Silliman, written on the outer flap of the original letter and readdressed. In it, Silliman regrets that Hitchcock was paid so little for his work on the geology of Massachusetts and writes very briefly about a few other small business matters. |
