Abstract | A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock writes about a piece he is writing about an astronomy paper, but he is afraid there will be printing errors and requests a proof. Hitchcock also writes about a manganese oxide he may have misnamed and requests advice on whether to reply to remarks made by Amos Eaton on Hitchcock's review of William Daniel Conybeare and William Phillips' book "Outlines of the Geology of England and Wales." |
