Abstract	A letter to Edward Hitchcok in which Benjamin Silliman confirms receipt of Hitchcock's drawing of a large bird's foot. Silliman explains that the drawing will be lithographed while previous drawings received will be placed on wood cuts. He inquires after Hitchcock's expenses in traveling and digging and offers some reimbursement.
