Abstract | A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock discusses the state of the American Journal of Science, thanking Silliman for payment for a recent contribution and explaining that he may not have time to contribute much in the near future. Hitchcock also thanks Silliman for sending him a copy of his chemistry textbook and promises to look it over for errors when the term begins. Hitchcock also briefly discusses some other scientific publications. |
