Dates | 1890-1899 |
Abstract | Two versions of a colored flag with the caption "B.C. standard," which likely refers to the fictitious Big Continent created by the Nelson brothers. The completed version features Ethan Allen who commanded Big Continent. Ethan Allen was the name often used by Walter Nelson, the youngest brother, in the stories of their imaginary world. It is unclear which of the Nelson brothers created the drawings. |
