Abstract | A letter to Edward Hitchcock, begun on August 11, 1828 in which Benjamin Silliman discusses the use of milk whitewash. Silliman continues the letter on August 18 by discussing his plans for a visit to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, again urges Hitchcock to join him, and asks Hitchcock if he would be willing to write a review and analysis of a piece by Silliman for The American Journal of Science if Dr. [Thomas?] Cooper does not. |
