Abstract | A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Benjamin Silliman discusses an upcoming visit to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and urges Hitchcock to join him. Silliman also mentions the travels of some colleagues, and discusses the results of an incident at Yale College. The letter was written in the blank spaces of a printed document addressing a recent incident at Yale College in which students were dissatisfied with their board. |
