Silliman also offers to loan to Hitchcock another book by [Gideon] Mantell, as well as [Charles] Lyell's text, and describes the order of precedence at Yale College. He also quotes a criticism made by [Samuel George] Morton of [George] Featherstonhaugh's new Monthly American Journal of Geology & Natural Science. |
