Abstract | A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Benjamin Silliman discusses some edits made to a piece by Hitchcock for The American Journal of Science and to Hitchcock's geological map. Silliman also asks Hitchcock whether or not he would like to delay publishing his botanical catalogue before Mr. [Thomas?] Nutall has his own published. At the bottom of the last page Hitchcock has made a list of alterations made to his geological map. |
