Abstract | Letter from Jeffery Amherst dated July 1, 1761 from Albany, New York. The letter is addressed to Thomas Hancock in Boston. Jeffery Amherst expresses his displeasure at the argumentative behavior of the American ship masters who have been contracted to transport tonnage for the British army. Jeffery Amherst directs Thomas Hancock to send any further news about the transport ships to Captain Pryce in New York. |
