Abstract | An appendix to Edward Hitchcock's "Supplement to the Ichnology of New England" by Charles Henry Hitchcock. This appendix catalogs the Ichnological Cabinet at Amherst College, giving the number of the specimen, the kind of stone, the size, the names and peculiar features of the ichnites, notes about other objects on the slabs, the history the slab and the date it was taken into the cabinet, its locality, and references to where in the "Ichnology of New England" (C. H. Hitchcock refers to it as the "Ichnology of Massachusetts") and its supplement the specimen is mentioned. |
