Abstract | Letter from Jeffery Amherst to Connecticut Governor Thomas Fitch in which Amherst shares his approval that "suttlers" not be allowed to follow Fitch's Connecticut troops. Amherst also expresses his hope that the General Assembly will supply those troops "at a certain rate with necessaries and Comforts will remove all the inconveniences" they have been subjected to. |
