Title | Edward Hitchcock notes on two religious men |
Dates | 1830-1849 |
Abstract | Notes by Edward Hitchcock which seem to be intended for a sermon directed at two unidentified religious men. It is unclear whether the men are being converted, being ordained, or are going on missionary journeys. Hitchcock praises their dedication to and work for the church and expresses his confidence in the effect their labors for the cause of the church will have in the future, first directing his words towards the younger of the two men, then the elder. |
