Abstract | Photographs of the La Causa December 6, 1978 occupation of the Fayerweather snack bar to advocate for a cultural center. La Causa is the established cultural, political, and service organization for students interested in Latino issues and culture awareness. This take-over of the Fayerweather Social Center led to the establishment of the José Martí Cultural Center in Keefe Campus Center. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Delia Hatch Baroni was the College Photographer from June 1978-August 1980. |
