Abstract | Black and white photographs taken during Parents Weekend, November 1989 during a tour of the Mead Art Museum. In photographs, a tour guide holds a booklet titled Representing Revolution: French & British Images, 1789-1804 and can be seen speaking to visitors in the Rotherwas Room and in the Bassett Gallery. Works of art including paintings such as Robert Henri's Salome and George Bellows' Anne in Black Velvet, sculpture such as Paul Manship's Pronghorn Antelope, and English paneling can be seen in the images. These photographs were taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Frank Ward was the College Photographer from 1984-2005. |
