Abstract
A circular with content written by Simeon Colton in which he provides a statement on the situation of Amherst Academy, including the names of members of the board of trustees and details on the location, curriculum, facilities, books, schedule, and fees of the school. Colton also writes that he is taking this opportunity to make an appeal to any who may be willing to encourage the school. He concludes by stating that any who should wish to know more about the school are referred to the trustees of the school, the faculty of Amherst College, or any of a number of specifically named persons.
