Memoranda relating to beneficiaries of the Charity Fund
|Title||Memoranda relating to beneficiaries of the Charity Fund|
|Abstract||A notebook with records of Charity Fund beneficiaries from the Class of 1836 to the Class of 1878. The first page of the notebook includes a note stating that the records of disbursements from the Fund prior to the Class of 1836 were destroyed in the fire involving the buildings where Phoenix Row stands. The records included in the book are labeled by class year and provide tables with columns for the names of beneficiaries along with amounts (presumably the amount of financial aid they received from the Charity Fund), their occupation, year of death, and any additional remarks. The extent of information provided for each beneficiary varies, but names and amounts are always included.|
This item is undated. The date range provided is drawn from the finding aid and is the range of years from which records are included in the notebook.
Original contains sections of blank pages that were not digitized and are not included in the page count.
