Abstract
I.G. Bliss (Isaac G. Bliss) letter presumably to Justin Perkins in which Bliss writes that Mrs. Bliss (Eunice B. Day Bliss) has been ill. He says that he trusts "your Independent" has reached Perkins and remarks on the English paper. Bliss also mentions evidence of a reaction in favor of the anti slavery north. In a postscript he sends congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Labaree and Mr. and Mrs. Rhea.
