Abstract
A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock writes that a box of minerals intended for him was mistakenly sent to Silliman with the instruction that they be forwarded to a Mr. Pierce in New York. Hitchcock requests that Silliman keep the box for Hitchcock until he can send for it.
