Abstract
A letter from an unidentified correspondent to Justin Perkins in which the sender writes regarding his recent experience with a Nestorian language dialect, his current studies of Arabic, and his father's plans to return to Persia to distribute "the Scriptures." He also discusses the linguistic talents of Mr. Stoddard and a request for his father to translate "Keith" (likely a book by Alexander Keith). He goes on to write of the arrival of a Prince Dolgorouki (likely Dimitri Ivanovich Dolgorukov) and "his lady" to Tehran and sends his congratulations to Dr. Wright (Austin H. Wright). The signature on this letter is illegible, though the last name may be Glen. An unattributed note on the item reads "Mr. Glen."
