Abstract
Keith Edward Abbott letter presumably to Justin Perkins in which Abbott responds to Perkins' letter saying that they may not see Perkins as they had expected. Abbott expresses hopes that they will see him before they depart for England. He also responds to a second letter and a present from Perkins to Abbott and his wife. Abbott passes on thanks for Mr. Rhea, remarks on Mr. Cochran not receiving money from the governor, says that Reverend Alison (Charles Alison) is on leave in England and E.B. Eastwick is in his place, provides Eastwick's address, and sends his regards to several missionaries. He also writes regarding the weather and a journal with an article by Perkins. In a note, he writes that Dr. Cormick lost his eldest child Emily.
