Abstract
E. Breath (Edward Breath) letter to Justin Perkins in which Breath writes regarding the journey to Julamerk and their current situation there. He writes that the Meer (Mīr) is currently away from the residence, and they will likely have to await his return. Breath discusses their plans, including to make a circuit of principal Nestorian districts and proceed on to the country of Bader Khan Bey (also called Bedr Khan Beg). He writes of the oppression of the Nestorians and of the Nestorians themselves, mentioning the villages of Kerme, Tehoma, Diss, and Tyary. Breath notes that "Yiyah Khan" (also referred to as Yahyah Khan) had requested the Dr. (Wright) to be speedily forwarded on his journey. He also discusses the "rougher Koordish character" and writes of the Mudebbir speaking "with a good deal of glee," of killing a servant.
