Abstract
Abby (Bass Cozzens) letter to Charlotte Bass Perkins in which Abby writes regarding their recent move and family. She shares the status of her children Samuel, Charlotte, Hannah, and Penelope and expresses concerns over their salvation. She also writes regarding the Bass family, explains why she does not attend Board meetings, discusses the local religious spirit, and remarks on the growth of Judith (Grant Perkins). On the last page of the letter, S.W. Cozzens (Samuel W. Cozzens) writes to Justin Perkins, remarking on the condition of the Nestorians and sharing news of the deaths of several individuals. He also responds to Justin's letter, says that he lent out the book Justin wrote, notes the local interest in foreign missions, and writes of his current pastoral assignment.
