Abstract
W. Goodell letter to Justin and Charlotte Bass Perkins in which Goodell expresses how dear to their hearts the Perkinses' mission and members of it are to them. He shares news, including that all six of his children and their three servants had the measles and are recovered, that Mr. and Mrs. Jackson have had a daughter, that Mr. Hallock and Mr. Brewer have returned to their families, and that in Greece, Smyrna (İzmir), and Broosa (Bursa) there has been opposition to schools from the priesthood. In closing, he discusses the importance of praying for their missions and the rulers of countries.
