Abstract
E. Riggs letter to Justin Perkins in which Riggs responds to a letter from Perkins and expresses his interest in Perkins' mission. He writes regarding copies of "Letters to mothers" which he sent Perkins and will send to Mr. Stoddard. He also writes about the price of the trips to Bournabat (Bornova). In a postscript, Riggs congratulates sisters Goodell and Schauffler on the merciful care "of our Heavenly Father vouchsafed to them in their home of trial" and mentions Brother Adger's trip to Ephesus with Brother V. L. (Van Lennep), Miss Dauforth, Miss Shrewsbury, and others.
