Black and white photographs of a class is session, possibly relating to computer science, mathematics, or programming. Included are images of a professor and students in class in Converse Hall and in another classroom. Also included are images of several people gathered around an IBM 1130 computing system. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Jim Gerhard was the College Photographer from the mid-1960s to 1971.
