Abstract
Photographs of the 150th Commencement ceremony, held June 4, 1970, outside in the Alumni Gymnasium Quadrangle. Photographs show students, faculty, and honorary degree awardees in academic regalia. Images also include poet Robert E. Bly addressing the audience and Calvin Hastings Plimpton giving his address and handing out degrees as graduates cross the stage. Other individuals photographed may include John F. Boyle and Benjamin M. Ziegler. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Jim Gerhard was the College Photographer from the mid-1960s to 1971.
