Abstract
Volume 1 Number 3 of The Amherst Spectator, a student-run magazine published from 1932-1933. In comparison to other Amherst College student publications the Spectator was intended to be "the medium of expression for all other sides of the life connected with the colleges and Amherst especially." Forms of entries varied and included essays, poems, letters, short stories, and book reviews. Though topics of entries also varied, articles included often provided opinions on Amherst College specific topics and controversies of the time. The editors of this issue were William Clark, David D. Watkins, Robert Alan Green, L. Daniel Wickenden, and John C. Manthorp.
