Abstract
Dime: The Weakly Newsmagazine, a spoof magazine published by Touchstone, the magazine with contributions from Amherst College, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke College students. Dime was formatted in the style of Time Magazine, and it contained satirical news articles, photographs, letters received, and book, music, and art reviews. The editorial board of Dime included Earle W. Newton, James A. Walker, Donald Steinbrugge, Howell A. Bates, Richard Moulton Howland, Daniel C. Whedon, Girvan N. Snider, Gordon S. Reid, Edith Bartlett, George D. Olds, Arthur E. Mace, and Thomas B. Armistead. The magazine is numbered as Volume 2 Number 5; it appears that no other issues of Dime were published.
