An intaglio print of a portrait of Walt Whitman by Herbert Gilchrist. The print bears two of Whitman's signatures, one in pencil and the other in blue crayon. The image appeared as the frontispiece for Richard Maurice Bucke's book, "Walt Whitman," published in 1883.
