Abstract | A transcription of Emily Dickinson's poem "There is no frigate like a book." The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd’s own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. Penciled notes are written on the transcript and "A Book" has been written above the transcription in pen. This transcript may relate to Emily Dickinson's manuscript "There is no frigate like a book" (Amherst Manuscript 462) in this collection. |
