Abstract | An unattributed typed transcription of a letter from Emily Dickinson to Cornelia Sweetser. The letter begins with the line "Dear Nellie, Blossoms and cakes and memory!" The transcribed letter includes the lines of the poem "Blossoms will run away." A letter in this collection from Harry Stone to Millicent Todd Bingham dated April 27, 1935 discusses transcripts of Dickinson letters and the Sweetser collection; a penciled note on the Stone letter states "concerning Transcriptions 85 - 105" which may indicate a relation to this transcription. |
Notes | The transcription is undated. The date range comes from the year Emily Dickinson died and the year these transcriptions were donated by Millicent Todd Bingham to Amherst College. |
