Abstract
A.L. Holladay letter to Justin Perkins in which Holladay shares news of the death of his brother John. He also says that they are still in suspense regarding Perkins' return and are anxious for further intelligence from America. He writes regarding the status of the mission's schools and the work he's been doing preaching and for the press. He notes that they have heard nothing from the Bible Society in regards to their applications. Holladay discusses the feeble health of Mrs. (Ann Yancey Minor) Holladay and the health of his son Waller and other members of the mission including the Merricks and Mr. Jones.
