Abstract
A portion of a letter from an unidentified correspondent to Justin Perkins in which the sender writes regarding a school, likely one connected with the Nestorian Mission. They write of prayer meetings and the amount of students who have chosen to become or are interested in becoming Christians. They also write that they have heard of special interest in other schools, discuss prayers that have been offered, remark on the current mood of the village, and share news on individuals they visited or heard about in Boston. Sarah's grandmother Briggs, William, Mrs. Barrus, and Mr. and Mrs. Wight are all mentioned. The individuals mentioned are all likely related to Harriette Briggs Stoddard.
