Abstract | Abby (Bass Cozzens) letter to Justin and Charlotte Bass Perkins in which Cozzens responds to a letter from the Perkinses and expresses how much they are missed. She writes regarding the Perkinses' work, Justin's illness, her own current situation, her son Samuel, her daughter Charlotte Bass, friends and family in Middlebury, the death of their aunt, their sister Sarah's winter plans, Susan Stowell, and the death of Kinsman Wheelock. Cozzens also asks them questions about their situation. Dr. and Mrs. Grant (Asahel and Judith S. Grant) and Mr. Worcester are mentioned in the letter. |
