Abstract
G.D. Cullen (George D. Cullen) letter to Justin Perkins in which Cullen discusses the matter of the native (to Persia) applicant for medical education in Edinburgh, explaining he does not see his acceptance as likely. Cullen writes regarding the (Edinburgh) Medical Missionary Society starting a school and dispensary in Bombay, evangelical work, reading Perkins' writings, missionaries, reports of the Turkish government closing Protestant missions, local updates, and family news. William Burns Thomson, Andrew Glen, Dr. Schneider, the T.M.A.S. (Turkish Missions Aid Society), the Evangelical Alliance, Dr. Wood, Dr. Jenkins, Cuthbert Young, Dr. Guthrie, William Reed, Cullen's son, and several others with illegible names are mentioned in the letter.
