Abstract | John Coffin Nazro letter to Justin Perkins in which Nazro writes that if Perkins thinks the included poem worthy, he can give it a place in his "Nine Years' Residence in Persia." He writes that though there is good Persian Poetry, he is not aware that poetry has been written in America in praise of the Persian Mar Yohammed. He quotes Christian scriptures and included is a poem titled "A Dream" that refers to "our Friend, Yohannan, Mar, The Bishop of Ooroomiah" (Urmia). |
