Abstract | M. P. Parmelee letter to Justin Perkins in which Parmelee responds to a letter from Perkins. He compares the success of their missions, responds to Perkins' suggested writing frequency, and shares updates on his one-month-old daughter. He discusses the location of the Annual Meeting as either Kharpoot (Harpoot) or there (in Erzurum) and writes that he hopes Brother Cochran will still come. He goes on to discuss the Cochrans' letters and notes his own association with Mrs. Cochran's brother, Mr. Plumb. He says that Nellie Frost of Plumb's congregation is not his wife of the same name. Parmelee also shares news of Mrs. Burbank's health learned via Mr. Knapp, mentions a Baron's recovering health, and writes about Ms. Babcock's case. |
