Abstract
A typescript transcription of "So looking on the night the morn." The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Emily Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd's own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. A note written in pencil at the bottom of the transcript is signed "T.W.H" (Thomas Wentworth Higginson) and states "I left this out because it seems like the last verse of something - yet I have not the rest?" Another note written in pencil at the top of the transcript which is signed "M.T. Bingham" (Millicent Todd Bingham) states "This is the final stanza of "A something in a summer's day." Other notations are written in pencil on the transcript. This transcript may relate to Emily Dickinson's manuscript "A something in a summer's day" (Amherst Manuscript fascicle 83) in this collection.
