Abstract
J. E. G. Stocking letter to "the Missionary Circle" of the Nestorian Mission in which Stocking responds to letters from several of the missionaries. She notes the continued ill health of Mr. Cochran, the probability of the Cochrans having to visit the United States, and the addition of two tender little ones to the missionary families. She writes about the cheering intelligence of a revival and conversions at the mission and prays for decided piety amongst the children. She mentions waiting on the boxes and shares updates regarding her own family. She asks for further information of the Nestorian Mission and the current bearing of the government towards it. Stocking also briefly notes the "movement of them in Turkey in connexion with the removal of the law making death the penalty of becoming a Christian."
