Abstract | Henry (Martyn Perkins) letter to his father Justin Perkins in which Henry notes the receipt of letters from Justin and from Ma (Charlotte Bass Perkins). He says that he wrote her assuming that they are to leave for Persia next December as Justin had wished him to do. He goes on to write regarding yesterday's Sabbath service and the monthly concert at which the preacher alluded to Benj (Benjamin) Labaree's ordination at Middlebury and spoke on the cause of missions of the A.B.C.F.M. (American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions). He also writes about his illness last winter. |
