Abstract
A typed transcription of Emily Dickinson's poem "Our lives are swiss." The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd's own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. Editor's marks and notations are written on the transcript including "Alpine Glow" written above the poem. Two notes written at the bottom of the transcript state, "'World' typewriter in the Jones Library, Amherst," and "'Alpine Glow' in writing of T.W.H." referring to Thomas Wentworth Higginson. "Miss Anshelm" is written in the upper left corner. This transcription is part of the Printer's Copy for Poems: Third Series.
