Abstract
A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock discusses several small business matters. This includes his "Report on a re-examination of the economical geology of Massachusetts," a request that Silliman send some marl specimens and fossil bones to him even though they were too late for the report, asking whether Silliman would like an essay on Mount Ararat, his desire to have a meeting of geologists in the next year, and some other small geological matters.
