Abstract | A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock tells Silliman that he has sent a specimen of rock with rain drop impressions in it to Professor [Charles] Shepard for him to compare to other examples in England. Hitchcock also tells Silliman that he has recommended Professor O. P. Hubbard for the geological survey of New Hampshire. |
