Abstract
A sermon by Edward Hitchcock discussing part of the fourth chapter of Ephesians. He goes through the chapter verse by verse and discusses the meaning of certain lines. He ends with drawing conclusions from these verses, including that different interpretations of scripture are the result of depraved hearts, that none are truly Christians unless they lead holy lives, and God is grieved by mankind indulging in sin. Hitchcock has noted the date and location where he delivered this sermon as well as Bible chapters and hymns related to the sermon on the first page.
