Notes | The letter is signed, "Charles H. B." It has been inferred that this refers to Charles Hovey Billings. There is no opening salutation for the letter. "[to Jane E.H.]" has been written in pencil. The header of the letter indicates the letter was written in "Troy." The state is unknown. |
