Dates | 1890-1899 |
Abstract | Chapter 1 of an unattributed story about three brothers who are trappers in the woods around Big Wolf Lake in Mapleton, part of the Nelson brothers' imaginary world. The trappers have to decide if they should build a shelter in the woods or continue on in their animal skin tent nearer to their traps. It is unclear which of the Nelson brothers wrote the story, which appears to be unfinished. |
