Abstract | This document is comprised of two letters written by Benjamin Silliman. In the first letter Silliman thanks Edward Hitchcock and Stephen West Williams for sharing mineral specimens. In the second letter Silliman proposes some edits to an article Hitchcock has written for The American Journal of Science. The first letter is addressed to both "Hitchcock + Williams." It has been inferred that "Williams" refers to Stephen West Williams. |
